Dion Beebe is an Australian cinematographer aged 49 and has been in the business since 1992. Beebe studied cinematography at the Australian Film Television and Radio School from 1987-1989.
Beebe is recognised for his use of stylized, extremely saturated colour choices in his movies and for his innovative use of high-speed digital video in Michael Mann's Collateral and Miami Vice. These effects create an immersive video which brings saturated colour and slow fluid video,
this collectively makes a complete frame for virtually any movie. Beebe is also a member of the Australian Cinematographers Society and the American Society of Cinematographers.
Below are some screenshots from his movie, he was director of photography in a film
called Edge of Tomorrow:

In these images above Beebe has made the subject of the Image (mainly Tom Cruise) pop out from the rest of the image either by using a lens with a shallow depth of field or by using different camera angles, (E.G. a low camera angle) and colour differences, this combined makes the frame in the video applicable to the casual viewers eye and they believe the movie had good cinematic's caused by good framing.
I would love to use some of Beebs colouring techniques in my closing piece for my GCSE exam.
