This is the galleries page with most of my videos on, at the top is some of my oldest videos and they get newer as you scroll down, there is work both from school and college.

The video: Charlie.D243: The Best Bits.

In this video, I show off some of my cinematic skills in the hope of pleasing my followers and to show what I can do for my art coursework.

This includes footage from both France and Spain.

However, there was a problem with all the transitions,  where it would hang for a second after the transition had completed.

The film: Dark Woods

in this 1:30-minute film I venture up to my Grandma's woods and film cinematically and I think I managed to take some interesting film footage.

The Video: Dropping 3 Phones Off A 100ft Cliff.

This video is a monument for me, how far I have moved on since

I first stared to edit.

Although this is not the best video content, I love the editing and the journey to the drop! "The Drop At The Ending"

What I would like to make better is the dropping sequence, I really want to find a better more applicable way of applying my editing. I think transitions could be the way forward and little cut scenes to rest the viewer's eyes.

The Film: France 2017 (21:9)

I do really love this film, mainly because it gets people who own 21:9 ultrawide monitors a film that actually fits on the whole screen! I have to admit however, this video is not for the masses, I made it based on the idea that I could look back

at this in 20 years time and remember the trip to France, hence the 10 minute long video and the future proofing of 4k and the 21:9 aspect ratio.

The Video: Smashing Up A TV

This video was inspired by the you tube channel called

TGF Bros.n

I was so happy with this video and the style of editing I used.

I have since used the techniques for more movies and videos, as the finished  video was great.

The Film: Bridget Winterbourne Art To Inspire

This film was totally based on my own filming and editing techniques and my experience so far.

There is a blog for this video and more about it on the link below.

The video: The Best Slo Mo's!!

This video was an original idea for myself and my cousin Ross to film some madness in slow motion using my Mum's camera,

which outputs video down to 1/8 speed, which looks amazing

and also my iPod which has the same feature,

but outputs in a higher quality of 720p.

So, for the content we thought "a microwave being thrown out of a window" would look pretty good, so we did.

Ross and I were impressed by the shot so we repeated it three times and I used the best footage in the actual video.

Dropping the microwave gave the effect that Ross and I are pretty crazy,,,, so,  no logical reason here. For the second scene, Ross thought that we should axe deodorant cans (he got the idea from the slo-mo guys). For the final scene in the video, we filmed the deodorant cans on top of a fire causing it to spin, which created a really beautiful shot in slo-mo.

Then I realised that I made the end a bit too long.

I have improved on this since this video.

The goal is not to make quick content full videos.

The video: The Shed Build Part 1

Content: Footage of my brand new build.

The Shed being constructed from start to finish.

Content: The Centre Parcs Video

For this video (Centre Parcs Woods) I had my GH4 camera settings as follow:

For the first 2 minutes of the video, I had the aperture set at F1.7 at a resolution of 1080p 50p.

For the second half of the video, I still had the camera recording at 1080 50p.

However, on some of the shots, I had the aperture at f2.4 for less of a bokeh effect.

This allowed me to achieve the shots that I filmed on the rail looking at the

crisp rock and the rail shot,  looking into the plant up the river.

About halfway through the film I shook things up and filmed Ross throwing the rocks and logs into the river, with this, I could achieve unexpected climax which would keep the viewer interested.

I filmed the slow-motion shots at 96fps in 1080p on my GH4 with manual focus.

Content: Open Land (GH4 and Note 8Film)

This film was captured on both the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and the LUMIX GH4. edited in Vegas 15 Shot in 1920:1080 (16:9)

In this video I go up to the Mendip Hills in Somerset and capture scenes from both velvet bottom and Cheddar Gorge, and combine the footage to make an eye catching film.

Wells City- Film - Shot On Note 8

This shot in a city called Wells in Somerset, the city has many wonderful sights and tourist attractions as it is one of the smallest City's in the world!

I shot the film only on my Note 8, however there is a bug with this film, as my editing software was playing u, however this is the re- rendered version and the quality is better, but the transitions are still quite sticky.

London's Hidden Sights (Note 8Film)

In this video I visit 2 art galleries and film the art that I see as most appealing on film.  I also do some walking around Westminster and visit Buckingham Palace, as well as walking down a street full of buildings with glass windows.   All this looks great through the camera which today is the GALAXY NOTE 8 on a Steady cam. This film is also a practice film for my Exam

Sennen - Cornwall Film (shot On Note 8)

In this short film I visited Sennen a small village in Cornwall, my idea was to capture the openness and beautiful landscape and I achieved this. The film turned out to be one of the most beautiful pieces I have produced.

In this film I capture the open beaches, the choppy seas and the steep cliffs. I used my LUMIX GH4 to film the whole movie so I could capture the natural depth of field produced by my F1.7 aperture lens.

I hope you enjoyed it!

(This film was shot as part of my exam project on framing)

GCSE Final Piece Edit

Don't Give Up

In my final piece I wanted to express the fact that we should

not give up on our dreams.

This film was edited, filmed and directed by myself and was shot with 5 different cameras and several different pieces of equipment, the time taken to edit this film was 6 hours.

(this film is for my GCSE ART EXAM)

Menopause documentary trailer

This trailer shows what is to come in my upcoming documentary my group creating (crimson productions)

I both edited and shot this trailer as I thought it would be exciting to show when we presented our idea to the rest of our class.

Menopause Uncovered Documentary

Our documentary is covering the Menopause, it is based on women's experiences of the menopause and how to overcome this stage in a woman's life. It will contain plenty of factual knowledge about the menopause plus it will include diverse women's views and stories. It will also contain an interview with a menopause specialist, how boxing is helping Claire Derham get through the menopause with an additional interview with Claire Derham's coach Ian Eisentrager and why he thinks exercise is great for women going through the menopause.

The documentary aims to inform, educate and reveal an insight.
