For my final piece I wanted to make a film that had meaning, however this was not going to be easy so I laid down one Sunday evening and started thinking about what I could do and throughout the next day Monday I still had no idea what I was going to do, until Monday evening. I was having a shower when suddenly, I had a great idea, I envisioned this woodland where my dad and I used to go mountain biking when I was younger, and I remembered big long tracks where I could gather excellent shots. The trees were tall and straight, the sun was shining, immediately I written the idea down with my s-pen and notes on my phone, the next thing I know I have a story all figured out, don’t give up!
And this was the planned story:
I pretend I am a mediocre cyclist with a lack of experience and show my journey of becoming better showing rage, confidence and the will to overcome fear, the fear of fear itself and just do it. This is a trait I believe is vital to human survival. Without it I believe we would not be here today. So that is the story of my film to overcome the fear of pain and not to give in.
