The final piece (The day)

We woke up Tuesday morning of the 23rd of march a sunny morning, the perfect conditions to film. We managed to hire a van to be able to fit my bicycle inside alongside all my camera equipment. I was filming with my mum’s partner called Gerard, who has no experience on a bike and no experience behind a camera.

We picked up the van at about o'clock and we were ready to leave my house for 9 A.M. We arrived at the pub car park at about 9: 30 A.M. However, the walk from the car park to the spot in the woods I wanted to get to so I could launch my drone launch was 1 hour, that’s 1 hour of carrying about 30kg of equipment between us, and trust me it was not fun!

Though the output from the drone camera and the whole day was amazing though the scene where I fall in the film was fake and it was setup, I still managed to bruse my shoulder as we shot the scene twice as the first fall looked fake, and the second-time round I think I hit my shoulder on a stick or rock and it was quite painful even though I had body armour on motorbike grade and a full motorcycle helmet! Though I did not give up and there were no other hiccups throughout the rest of the film everything went as planned with the script.

Below is the link for the final piece if you have not yet seen it.
