The night before filming an interview

Today, I found out that we would be filming an interview with a doctor who is a specialist tomorrow, short notice but I think we will manage, I have Amelia writing up the questions that we all put together earlier today, I managed to think of 10 but Amelia is adding some more so that we can get the interview to last 20 mins, to record the interview I will bring my own equipment which is listed below:
Fluid head video tripod
Normal tripod to mount a microphone to using an adapter of mine
XLR to 3.5mm headphone jack lead
XLR cable
Lumix GH4
2x 64GB SD cards 1 for backup purposes
Microfiber cloth
Laptop to record audio too, not the most professional however I could not get my hands on one of the colleges audio recorders in time for the shoot
XLR condenser microphone
Rode Video mic GO
Fully charged batteries for GH4
Battery power bank
Bose headphones for audio monitoring
Phone for remote control over GH4
So altogether quite a list of equipment. Here is my idea of what I would like to happen, for a start I would like the Questioner (Amelia) on the right side of the camera, this is so we can have the Doctor framed up so there is some spacing on his right of the background, this will mostly look good with the soft bokeh my lens can capture.
I believe we also need a permission slip which I am about to write up as I do not have on hand. We may also be confronted with bad lighting conditions and maybe a technical problem on the day, however I have thought of this and I have already set up a complete replica of the kit we need and also thought of some contingency plans, number one the doctor is ill tomorrow, for this I have another doctor on standby, this would be my neighbour which funnily enough is also a menopause specialist! Also, if Amelia happens to be ill I will step in and read the questions as best as I can or Kirsty my second camera assistant and top researcher.
So all is looking well I will write another post tomorrow after the shoot!
