So why is a budget useful and what did i learn fro this lesson?
The first thing i learnt from this workshop was the sheer amount of things you need to put in the budget ranging from money for the team to buy a coffee all the way to the SD cards!
These budgets are very useful as after it is created it gives the production company an idea weather the show is worth producing as say a documentary costs 100K to produce and its on a niche topic like the menopause it may not be worth producing as the earnings would not match the budget.
For our documentary the only money we will be spending is food whilst we are in Weston super mare filming, which should only be about £15 for all of us. Transport should not be an issue as kylan can get lifts with his parents to locations and Laura and I have a bus pass.
