Research: ​For our research, I found out what menopause is, what happens and different court cases. Some of my research is on my research page. This information was easy to access because I used Google and we all done a lot of research from different sources.

On the whole however,

I am really proud of the research Laura had conducted and i am happy we used a lot of it in writing questions for our interviews and also to write the voice over with Kylan. Without research our documentary would not be possible to create, for me the most informative research for me which taught me what the menopause was listening to Dr Greenhouse with Amelia and Kirsty, i learnt about all of the cycles and the basics of what i wanted to include in our documentary as a whole, for example he talked about differently stages of the menopause, something that we tried to recreate in our final piece which was; going into the menopause, coming out of the menopause and an early menopause, this way we could please most if not all women currently in / going through the menopause which widens our target audience. So the research that Laura did conduct was fantastic, also some research from Kirsty and Amelia (Ex team members).

The slide below is from our initial presentation (pitch) it is clear to me now how much we have all learned since our initial pitch! for example that age range for women who would watch our doc i would say now is age 35-65 and it is not just aimed at women going through the menopause but also women going into it as well as educating younger women as to what the menopause actually is.
