Recces: Checking out a place before shooting, if you need permission, weather conditions and traffic problems. When filming the public, we will have to watch out for traffic due to being in a public area. To film and interview Dr Greenhouse we had to ask permission first and get him to sign a permission form so we can film him. We are planning to use Weston beach for the B-roll as it is an attractive place and very well known tourist area. On Weston beach there is also the Grand Pier that is there and many attractive buildings. For interviews, we will also be filming in our producer Charlie's house because that is where our interviewers will be and it is good for background and sound. Although, we will have to think about traffic and aeroplanes but the area we will be in isn't busy so it shouldn't pick up many noises. But if it does, we will use the mic covers to block it out. Charlie's house is in an aeroplane path, this means every time an aeroplane goes past we would have to stop the interviewer talking and we would have to cut it out in editing. But as we are editing a documentary, it might be hard cutting clips as we cant' jump scenes like music videos etc. To do this, we will include drone shots of Weston beach to avoid showing the jump scenes of the interviewers.

So in conclusion our recces were really well researched and put together by Laura, Kirsty and Kylan, i was happy of the quality they were completed to and really did represent the locations we filmed in, I even looked at our recce of Weston before we went to once over the drone laws one last time which I look back on now and realise how important they really are for example we also had the weather on ours and also warning to watch out for the tide and even the specific busses how to get there! So on the whole i was really impressed with our group recces.
