Equipment list for Filming our film trailer.
1x Headphones, 2x Panasonic LUMIX GH4, 1x Rode video mic go, 1x Video Mic Pro Plus, 3x 64gb SD cards and 1x Steadicam, 1x Phantom 4, 3x Drone Batteries, 3 x Camera Batteries, 4x Light Batteries, 1x Fluid Head Tripod, 1x 1.5m Slider, 2x Slider Tripods, 2x Bi Colour Lights and 2 x Battery banks for phones.
All of the equipment above is owned by me, though the reason we are not using the colleges equipment is because its easier to use my equipment as I know it all works and I’ll know if I charge the batteries or not, as well as this I prefer the image from the GH4 Cameras compared to the college cameras, also I own the cameras and the two lenses, because of this I know that they are not damaged and the GH4 is an extremely durable camera both waterproof and very drop resistant. Finally, for audio, my new video mic pro plus is a very expensive piece of equipment and is just as clear as the rode NTG microphones (in my opinion), also we are doing a shot trailer and there is no need for a separate audio recorder as we are not just listing to someone speaking for an hour straight, as in a documentary where the benefits of the NTG microphones would be more worthwhile to use over the pro plus which, is more convenient as it plugs right into the camera and you do not need to sync audio in post.
