Preventing Issues

Issues before filming include:

- viewpoint

- Representation

- Access

- Health and safety

- how we got access (how we as a group found the people to interview)

Issues while filming may include:

- people are late

- equipment breaks

- Weather suddenly changes

- Other crowd control issues

Examples of issues while and before filming:

Health and safety concerns, we need to research health and safety before we go out to film our trailer this would include, doing a recce on the place we want to film and jot down all possible, example we had already done a health and safety checklist before we went to film on the Monday, we researched that we would need to wear suitable footwear for slippy terrain.

Finally making sure we have permission to film at locations this would mean contacting land owners before we film on a location and remembering to print out consent forms before we film on location. We have already researched and gained permission from the places where to film and told the land owners why we are filming there in the first place, we also need to figure how we will use other audio clips that are uncopyrighted and insert it into our film trailer.

We have good access already to actors however we obtained this access by firstly having my friend who is an actor be willing to be in our project, she said yes to be in our trailer which was great we also obtained a backup actor Ella Winterbourne if Elena (our main actor) was not able to make it we would still have a backup. also, we also need extras for our trailer and for this we have acquired and elderly lady, a young boy, two pairs of parents our main actor and her boyfriend who is playing her boyfriend in the trailer. We managed to get these actors as they are all family members of mine who were willing to be in our trailer, this was very convenient, and it only took a few texts to set up.

Examples of issues while filming: There are many things that can go wrong while filming, here are examples of some issues we may run into.

If there are any technical issues while filming like a tripod has broken or the camera is refusing to record and possibly you cannot hear any audio through the headphones, make sure you have two of everything for example:

When we are filming make sure we have an audio recording device on each camera (we have two cameras so we will have 2 mics). As well as this we should make sure all our batteries are charged before we leave to go shooting as well as making sure all of our equipment is working correctly (this means the batteries inside the microphones as well as the camera's drones and lights).
